How far is it to the Dorfbahn and the village centre?

Only about 200 metres. You can walk to the lift and the charming high street in just a few minutes.
Can I leave my car parked during my holiday?

Yes, please do. The lift, village centre, restaurants, and supermarket are all within walking distance. Your car can remain in our private car park, free of charge, for your entire holiday.
Are there restaurants and shops nearby?

Yes, everything is just a few minutes' walk away in the village centre.

Apartments & Furnishings

How large are the apartments?
+
Wonderfully spacious, approx. 65 m² for 2 to 5 people.
Do all apartments have two bedrooms?
+
Yes. Each apartment has one room with a double bed (for 2 people) and a second room for 2 to 3 people with a double bed and a single bed. So there are no sofa beds in the living room.
If we book for two people, do we also get the second bedroom?
+
Yes, the entire apartment is exclusively for you. Many couples find the extra space, privacy, and freedom a huge advantage compared to a standard hotel room. You have all the space to yourselves.
Is there a balcony or terrace?
+
Yes, each apartment has its own wonderful private outdoor space.
Is Wi-Fi available?
+
Yes, you can use our Wi-Fi for free throughout the house.
Can I park at the house?
+
Yes, we have free parking spaces right outside.
Is there somewhere I can do laundry and store my bike?
+
Yes, we have a secure room for your bicycles. A washing machine and dryer are available for a fee.

Catering

Can we book breakfast?
+
Yes, if you'd like, you can join the breakfast buffet at our partner hotel, 200 metres away. This is available between 8:00 and 10:00.
How does the bread service work?
+
From Monday to Saturday, we hang fresh bread on your door in the morning. On Sundays and public holidays, the baker does not deliver, but the supermarket in the village is open and has delicious fresh bread.
Can we also have dinner at the partner hotel?
+
Yes, you can, but please let us know in advance when you make your reservation.
Is catering mandatory?
+
No, the apartments have a fully equipped kitchen so you can do your own thing. You can simply add the optional breakfast or dinner when you book.

Summer

Is the Free Mountain Card included in the price?

Yes, during the summer season, you receive this card from us as standard.
Can we start hiking directly from the house?
+
Yes, the hiking trails and routes to the five magnificent side valleys start right on our doorstep.
Are there guided tours?
+
Yes, the entire hiking and cycling programme from the tourist office is completely free for our guests.
Is there a hiking bus?
+
Yes, there is a free hiking bus that runs throughout the region.
What is there for children to do?
+
We have a large private garden, and there is a wonderful forest playground with treehouses on the stream promenade. The Isskogel playground and the children's programme from the tourist office are also highly recommended.
Where can we go swimming?

You'll find lovely outdoor swimming pools in Zell am Ziller, Stumm, Krimml, Mayrhofen, and Fügen.
Why is Gerlos so nice in the summer?
+
Because of the wonderful temperatures (it's always up to 5 degrees cooler here than in the valley), the fresh mountain air, and the tranquillity of the five side valleys.

Winter

How far is it to the ski piste?

Only about 200 metres to the Dorfbahn. And you can ski the valley run right back to our house.
Where do I store my ski equipment?
+
We have a ski room with a modern boot dryer, so you'll have warm feet the next morning.
Are there ski schools and rental shops nearby?
+
Yes, everything is within walking distance. By the way, you can easily arrange your ski lessons directly with us in the house through Skischool Gerlos Total.
Can I really go on a ski holiday without a car?
+
Yes, in Gerlos you really don't need a car.

Families & Couples

Are the apartments suitable for families?
+
Absolutely. There's a large garden, a forest playground just around the corner, and the two separate bedrooms give everyone their own space.
Are the apartments also nice for couples?
+
Especially so. Couples really enjoy the tranquillity by the stream, the 65 m² of space, and the fact that the entire apartment is exclusively theirs.
Is there a garden?
+
Yes, we have a large, family-friendly garden by the stream where you can wonderfully relax.

Arrival

How does check-in work?

As soon as you have completed our mandatory online check-in, we will send you all the information you need for your arrival.
When do I need to complete the online check-in?
+
At least 48 hours before you arrive.
Are dogs allowed in the apartment?
+
Dogs are allowed on request. Please contact us prior to booking.
